What does AI product integration involve for a product team?
AI product integration is adding structured intelligence inside an application your team already ships: an API that takes voice, text or events, returns a decision or an answer, and is tested and kept current as the underlying models change. The work sits behind your product's existing interface, not as a separate product beside it.
In one lineStructured intelligence added inside your product, not bolted beside it.
Why it matters to you
The distinction that matters is where the boundary sits. Integration means the intelligence lives inside your product's own flow, called through an API your team already maintains, so a user never leaves your interface to reach it.
It is judged the same way any product system is: does it keep each user's context, does it act only inside limits your team set, and is it tested and re-set as the model underneath it moves, so your release schedule is not held hostage to a vendor's.
What it is not
AI product integration is not a chat widget dropped onto a page. It is called from inside your product's own code, decides within limits your team set, and is kept current after launch.
